THE BEES AND THE VINEYARD
The vine is a plant nectar and the bee can only offer it its pollen. However, it could turn out to be more attracted to the flowering herbaceous plants that grow naturally in the rows. It is not uncommon to find some bees busy foraging on the flowers to collect pollen. Therefore, bees are a fixture in the vineyard, and play a part in how we take care of our plants, by passing from flower to flower dispensing a bit of pollen that has been collected, providing some much-needed assistance in the production of the bunch of grapes. Recognizing the invaluable help of the bee, we will help preserve them by avoiding the use of pesticides in the vineyard, and taking care of our apiary.
